While I was in New York over the summer, I went to a friend's band's show, and from kinda far away, I noticed this girl taking pictures of Calamus (the band). A few months later, I find her on facebook, and discover that she is EXTREMELY talented. She does a lot of music photography, and its absolutely amazing. Her name is Leia Jospe, and i strongly recommend that you check her out. (and if you happen to live in new york and have a band.... contact her. she'll do you good.)

yesterday we went to tinicum elementary and painted three big murals for earth day!
Everything was my sized and for the first time I got to see other people struggle with the sinks and toilets hah!
Anyways I leave for New Mexico in two days and couldn't be more excited.

ADELINE MAI, she has my name.

So over spring break, i was browsing through the Internet, and i came across a blog that is like, beyond anything i have ever read. and i didn't even understand half of the shit going on (considering it was full of french slang that i am not accustomed to..) The writer of this blog is a lovely girl named Adeline Mai.
She is a photography student in the Gobelins School of Animation, a summer school in Paris. After falling in love with her photos, i couldn't help but send her an email. She responded in less than an hour, and so our conversation started.
Adeline was born and raised in Paris, i am beyond jealous but when i told her how lucky she is, she goes-- "But im getting sick of it!it s a really nice cit but being here for such a long time is really annoying!"

... I'm not even going to try to pretend i get what shes talking about.

Not only does it showcase his whole collection, but also select stuff from Gareth Pugh and Alice Lemoine!!
It looks awesome, even the creepy rick owens head is kinda cool.

compared to the shitty i've been feeling lately, I think today I woke up with the first relaxed "ahhhhhhhhhhhh" smile and yawn i've had this past week, it was beautiful out.

ultimate wardrobe.

im having the worst case of insomnia and tomorrow is the big formal lunch/ blog night at addie's.
we're going to be doing a huge photo shoot with massive amounts of clothing that i am some how going to LUG over to addie's it should be good times!
Im hoping addie will wear her white fur so i can wear my black fur and we'll be just gaudy as all hell.

I don't know what's been going on with me but i've been really into the peplum look on mini dresses,
sometimes it can look really corny, but I've always loved that trashy rocker girl/ your moms prom dress look even if its way over done nowadays.
The floral ones i find on ebay actually remind me of the cute little easter dresses i'd wear to church,
I hope this weird obessesion ends soon, its getting warm around here and I cant be indulging in something it will soon be too hot to wear! Hellooooo summer dress shopping / bathing suit shopping!

Im almost considering just making my own bathing suit this year and making it totally wild.
Easters coming up on Sunday and I'm hoping to decorate some eggy's with this cute Jewel tone egg decorator thing I have.

So while looking through the news (yes i read the news), i came across an article about Fashion Week in India. It was extremely interesting and i strongly recommend it. They mention a bunch of names and i ended up google-ing a few of them. There was designer in particular that I was especially impressed with, Manish Arora. He released his first line in 1997, and since then has not only shown his amazing work all over India, but at London Fashion Week. Love Love Love.
